This policy is part of the OptiWolf Terms of Service. It exists because OptiWolf delivers content and code you author into your visitors' browsers and stores data your visitors submit. Violations may lead to suspension or termination under the Terms.
You must not use OptiWolf to:
- Break the law. No use for unlawful purposes, and no deployment on sites hosting unlawful content.
- Deceive visitors. No phishing, impersonation, fake system warnings, fabricated claims or endorsements, or popups designed to trick a visitor into submitting data they did not intend to share.
- Collect prohibited data. Lead forms and custom fields must not collect special categories of personal data (health, religion, sexual orientation, and the other Art. 9 GDPR categories), payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or credentials. Do not target sites primarily directed at children.
- Ship malicious code. Custom JavaScript, HTML, and CSS you configure must not contain malware, cryptomining, keylogging, ad injection, or code that exfiltrates visitor data to undisclosed parties.
- Test sites you don't control. Install the Snippet only on websites you own or are authorized to modify. The same applies to the free CRO scanner: scan only sites you operate or are entitled to assess.
- Spam. Do not use captured leads in ways that violate anti-spam and marketing laws, and do not use OptiWolf infrastructure to send or facilitate unsolicited bulk messaging.
- Abuse the platform. No circumventing plan quotas or rate limits, probing or disrupting the service, scraping other customers' data, or reselling the service as your own.
